Time for Upgrade : 1h 53m 14s
Time for Clean Install : 1h 2m 27s
Total Time Estimation : 2h 55m 41s
Backing Up Data
You can use Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. You can see my older post related to this.
Preparing to Install
Once you inserted the installation disk and run the installation, something like this will appear. Restart your Mac to make it reboot from disk. The big 'X' logo is so eye-catching that it's hard to notice there is a Restart button at the bottom-right corner.

Reboot..
While waiting for my Mac, I took some random pictures of my workspace. I hope these pictures worth my effort.

Language Selection
This is one of so many things that I love from Mac, its user friendliness. Even inside installation process, you can choose what language to use.

Begin Installation : Welcome and Disclaimer
Welcome box displayed five icons of Leopard Application, i.e. Time Machine, Mail, Finder, iChat, and Spaces. These applications should be the masterpieces of Leopard.

Select Destination and Installation Type
The first type (and the top one) is Upgrade Mac OS X. If you're lucky enough or you have hardly installed any third party applications to your Mac before, you can do this. But, I cannot guarantee that you won't meet the Blue Screen of Eternity.

Safe Way, Clean Install
It's safer this way; even though you have to do more backups, it will be better than see more blue screen.

Summary and Customize Settings
It's sounds like this.
Volume : Macintosh HD
Space Required : 6.3GB

Checking DVD Installer

Installing
Mac OS X was initializing the installation..

Install Succeed
Now, restart your Mac. And prepared for the most fantastic welcome scene.

Blue Screen of Eternity
Your Mac will display solid blue background color and hope that this situation won't last long. But you're wrong, this situation will last more than thirty minutes. This issue is hot inside Apple discussion forum. Don't give up guys, there are four ways to handle this issue
- Wait for a Couple of Hours
- Call Apple Customer Support
- Test What Experienced People Said inside Forum
- Perform Clean Install
And my Mac still inside blue screen. So I decide to reboot again and perform clean install. After doing the same steps again, finally I can see the wonderful welcome scene..
Welcome
Some people upload the welcome scene on YouTube. But I am not sure this action is violating the Leopard copyright or not.

A Peek on Leopard
All Applications calmly sit on glassy Dock.
