You can use Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. You can see my older post related to this.
Once you inserted the installation disk and run the installation, something like this will appear. Restart your Mac to make it reboot from disk. The big 'X' logo is so eye-catching that it's hard to notice there is a Restart button at the bottom-right corner.

While waiting for my Mac, I took some random pictures of my workspace. I hope these pictures worth my effort.

Welcome box displayed five icons of Leopard Application, i.e. Time Machine, Mail, Finder, iChat, and Spaces. These applications should be the masterpieces of Leopard.


The first type (and the top one) is Upgrade Mac OS X. If you're lucky enough or you have hardly installed any third party applications to your Mac before, you can do this. But, I cannot guarantee that you won't meet the Blue Screen of Eternity.


It's safer this way; even though you have to do more backups, it will be better than see more blue screen.

Your Mac will display solid blue background color and hope that this situation won't last long. But you're wrong, this situation will last more than thirty minutes. This issue is hot inside Apple discussion forum. Don't give up guys, there are four ways to handle this issue
Some people upload the welcome scene on YouTube. But I am not sure this action is violating the Leopard copyright or not.
