Speed Up System, Repairing Disk Permissions

My Mac seems to be getting old day by day. Maybe I should repair my Mac.

Repairing disk permissions can be easily performed using Disk Utility, one of Mac utility. There will be five simple steps.

Mac 1. Disk Utility Location
Disk Utility is the key application to do this disk repair. Actually there are another applications out there, but I prefer to use what I have. Disk Utility is located inside Utilities folder. The full file path is Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/. Open it.

Mac 2. Hard Drive
It is essential to let the Disk Utility knows what disk needs to be repaired. Therefore, make sure to select suitable disk. The disk icons is located at the left pane of Disk Utility. Click the name of your hard drive, not the parent model.

Mac 3. Repair Disk Permissions
There will be four tabs at the top-center of Disk Utility Pane, select the left-most tab, i.e. First Aid tab. Then, search for Repair Disk Permissions button that is located below the text field. Click on it and wait a few minutes for your Mac to process.

Mac 4. Complete. Pack Up
Reparation done. Quit your Disk Utility.
