In case you need more than one input language, you can set it with your System Preferences. However, since the initial keyboard shortcut to switch from one input method to others has been used default Spotlight's shortcut, you need to change it.

Adding Input Menu

Open International Preferences Pane

Select Input Menu

Enable new input method by ticking the checkbox

Creating Shortcut

Open Keyboard and Mouse Preferences Pane

Select Keyboard Shortcuts

Scroll down to Input Menu section

Enable shortcut for input menu

Change the shortcut

Displaying in menu bar

Tick the checkbox named Show input menu in menu bar

Click with mouse to switch between input methods

Input menu shortcuts can also be used
