FUN WITH USING A MAC

I really suggest you to adjust your sound preference, have a bad sound environment for your Mac, can be considered criminal by your surroundings, especially for this cute hamster.

What do you have to do to adjust sound?

Sound Volume

Sound volume can be adjusted via your keyboard

or you can use your mouse (mouse and hamster is good friend) to adjust volume..

Beware of Your Shocking Alert Sound

Alert sound not only can shock you but also your environment. Adjust the volume wisely. You can adjust that from Sound Preference Pane under System Preference Pane, or you can quickly access from QuickSilver.

Spc (to wake up QuickSilver) then key-in sopref then execute. This will bring up the Sound Preference Pane.

The display will similar to this (or even looks nicer in your Mac).

You can adjust your alert volume (1) and sound volume inside (2).

Alert Tone

Besides adjusting the volume, you can also choose the alert tone you want (3). I like the Funk much better than Blow (It really blows my mood down).

Adjusting Volume via Keyboard

Do you notice that whenever you adjust volume via keyboard, there will be some ticks (or whatever it sounds like) played? It is really disgusting, I really hate it. Therefore, I will teach you how to mute it.

You see that checkbox? (4)

Make sure it is not ticked, so you will got no ticks. Oh you can also disable UI (User Interface) sound effects by disable check box above it.

Hope this article will be useful for you. Mac is the best.
