Adium - Change Default Font

Sometimes you want to change the look of your font, your font-style or even your font-color when you chat with your friends. You can set this easily inside your Font Settings Pane.
Show Fonts
If you click on Adium Menu Bar ▸ Show Fonts, your Font Setting Pane will pop-up right in front of your eyes, floating over all other opened windows. You can also open Font Setting Pane using keystrokes Command-T.
Unfortunately, all your settings will be reverted back as soon as you send your instant message to your friends. But, of course, you can save and reserve your settings for further usage.
Save as Default
Surprisingly enough, there is a long, large button on the bottom of Font Setting Pane which is labelled Save This Setting As My Default Font. I think it's very obvious what will happen if we click this button.

so somehow my font color got changed to this blinding shade of blue and i can't get it to change back to a normal color to save my life. tried all the obvious things, but it just won't stick... and yes, i clicked the save as default button. any suggestions?!?! :(

i've tried using the "set as default" for color changes and it fails. every single time. it will set the font but in order to set the color, i have to change it every time i want to send an IM, even if i just sent one to person A in blue, if i want to send a second one to person A (without closing the chat box) i still have to go back and change the color. adium is great but they really need to fix this color issue. sometimes i'm just in the mood to talk in green.

I can change my font, but I can not change the font-size of the person I am talking to and this is so frustrating because it's only size 10. Is there a way for me to change it?
