Comment and Win: TranslateIt! for Mac

Advertisements

When I'm exposed to the chance of learning new language, I feel extremely excited, really. And I feel even more excited when the developer of a program called TranslateIt! approached me, stating that he really loves to share us some free license keys for 4 months.

The Lucky Draw

As usual, the winner will be decided with lucky draw. This time it's quite different, the quality of your comments will determine how much chance you will have during the lucky draw.

Anyway, you can put your comment with any languages, I got TranslateIt! here, I can translate your comment to the language that I am familiar with… :)

The comment box will be closed on 20th October 2008, one week after the Contest to Win Duplicate Image Detector. The result will be announced soon after that.

TranslateIt!

Unlike our Mac built-in Dictionary, TranslateIt! provides us with wider range of language selection. There are also some other interesting features on TranslateIt!, such as:

  1. Look up words anywhere, anytime by just "touching" the word. This feature also can be customized to translate the word by using defined keystrokes as what you did with your Dictionary.
  2. Text translate to everything. You can Double-Click on any word on the TranslateIt! Dictionary to get it translated again.

  3. He/she/it can speak! Not a really astonishing achievement for Mac, but it's quite remarkable.

  4. TranslateIt! Online which can translate better and much easier than Google language tools, it can help you auto-detect the language need to be translated.

  5. Word Quiz to test your built-in memory whether it's working properly or it's getting rusty already. Anyway, before starting the quiz, you're required to put some words into the history (keystrokes Command-Control-Return).
