To whom it may concern. I want to congratulate the owners of this web site for the outstanding range of information made available for those who have just been introduced to the Mac. I am used to the PC worldview and found the transition very difficult until I discovered your site. It was not a matter of concepts of use but where are the relevant commands in Mac that eluded me. The help file on Leopard is not as instructive as some claim. But your site is more practical and simple and elegant in its explanations than anything I've seen anywhere. Hello, Like the site!
I followed your exact directions on changing my default folder icons to the glass folder icons. However, they all worked except the generic folder and open folder icons. They all show up as document icons! But, when I go back into the resources folder and the corebundle that you have to right-click to get into, the genericfoldericon is the glass icon, not a document icon. I'm not sure why it is doing this. Can you please help? thanks!
I can sort preview files sorted by preview(e.g. size). I'd like to put them back in that order to be used to create contact sheets. can preview save sorts??

Hi, It's only been three months since I switched over from XP to OSX and I absolutely love it: it just makes life behind your computer screen easier, simpler. Since then I discovered you blog and indulged myself in the world of Apple keyboard shortcuts and even installed Quiclook plugins. Because of QL's speed I would like it to make de default viewer for pics/mp3/pdf's and other ... but where is the QL app situated ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx, David

Your RSS feed always seems to have duplicate entries. I use Google Reader for my RSS feeds. You might want to look into it. That is all.

Hi, Is there a way to manipulate the behavior of pop-ups ? Like when you change the extension you get a pop-up asking you 'are you sure' ... isn't it possible to choose the option with your keyboard arrows instead of clicking ? This may sound stupid but it's just one of those little things that I was used to in Windows. Enjoy, d. ps: please cast your vote out tomorrow all native american readers !!!

I just came across your very interesting website and maybe you can help me address the most annoying feature of using a Mac (I'm using an Intel iMac on Leopard). Is there any way I can increase the font sizes of the left hand column for finder? Similarly can I increase the main window font to more than 16 points? On a similar topic what about doing the same for the bookmarks column of Firefox? Many thanks in advance.
