Finder: Checking Total Size of Files

Advertisements

When you want to check the size of a single file, highlighting the file followed by pressing Command-I (Get Info) is enough to extract out the file size.

However, if you do the same when you highlight multiple files, a lot of File Info Pane will appear. In order to pretend this to happen and you only get a single pane that display the total size of selected files, you can use Command-Option-I (Show Inspector).

Hi, i think you’ve made some truly interesting points. Not too many people would actually think about this the way you just did. I’m really impressed that there’s so much about this subject that’s been uncovered and you did it so well, with so much class. Good one you, man! Really great stuff here.
