Sale on a sale! It's strange but it's normal — they can't sell significant amount amount of bundles because of there descriptions. Potential buyer has to read almost entire page to understand what this software does: Flux Flux 2 is The Escapers most important release ever. With a radically redesigned user interface, Flux 2 has the power to be your only web design tool. Most important release or not, it does say nothing about it's goal. Interarchy Continuing to raise the bar in file transfer technology Interarchy 9 introduces over one hundred new and improved features, including a brand new protocol built upon SSH, numerous enhancements to the product's award-winning interface, plus much much more. "For close to 15 years Interarchy has led the way with its advanced file transfer capabilities. Interarchy 9 builds on this by adding a number of exciting new features to enhance our customers' productivity." Matthew Drayton, founder and CEO of Nolobe. and what about features? Raise a bar of what? The worst promotion of applications I ever saw.
On a side note, every iteration of your blog "redesign" never fails to amaze me. Site is so nice!
i can only find 6 app?
I agree, Vasil! The descriptions are horrendous. I actually had to go to each app's homepage (except for WriteRoom & HoudahSpot which I already own) to try and figure out what these apps do and why they are supposedly better than similar apps in the same category. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with this bundle. LIdi makes another important point. There are only 6 apps visible on the MacZot homepage; to look at the other 4, one must have javascript turned on (I, like many people, use Firefox and have it javascript turned off by default with NoScript). Then you must look for that little tiny writing in the middle of the page, of all places, that says "more apps here". You must then position your mouse exactly over that little space and drag (oh, how cute! NOT!) to reveal the other four apps. To further confuse people, there is no logical way to scroll to the next app after you've finished reading the description; you must return to the homepage after each one! Web design FAIL.
I agree with you as well, Chet. This website is gorgeous, but it should retain the commenter's formatting in each post. The user shouldn't have to use tags for each paragraph; that should be automatic.
