Display Random Wallpaper

Up to this point, we have showcased many beautiful wallpapers. Maybe you will get confused about what wallpaper should be used for your Desktop. Luckily, you can set your Mac to display random wallpaper with any interval of time.

The setting can be done inside System Preferences ▸ Desktop & Screen Saver ▸ Desktop. And the next step:

  1. Preparing a folder where you will put all wallpapers you want to rotate through
  2. Add that folder with the + button near bottom left hand corner of the pane
  3. Tick the options Change picture and Random order on the bottom pane
  4. Set the time interval for the wallpaper to change. Here I set it to 5 seconds because I've almost 500 wallpapers on my collection

Setting Mirror Display for your Mac

If you're connected to two or more displays, you can mirror your main display on the second display. Owning a MacBook, you will see your F7 key being embedded with icon showing two stacking blocks, that's the shortcut to activate mirror display.

Apart of that, you can also slowly set your Mac to mirror display via Display Preference Panes:

  1. Open Apple ▸ System Preferences..
  2. Select Displays with its big blue screen icon
  3. Go under Arrangement section
  4. Check the Mirror Displays checkbox
